Buses, why do they always come in threes?

I was wondering about this today. No, not why real "buses" always come along in threes so you have to end up waiting for an entire hour in the pouring rain feeling like you've just turned into a human sponge. Although to be fair that's pretty annoying that as well.

And I'm not talking about when you've been going through a real dry drought-like patch (and I'm talking drier than the Sahara here) then finally you become interested in someone and suddenly someone you liked about 6 months back shows some interest too. What do they call that anyway? Sod's law? Murphy's law? I don't even know to be honest the point is I just don't get it!

So my real conundrum is... there's been some big shake-ups at work just the other day. A month ago, nothing was happening and my career seemed to be going nowhere, but suddenly there's like this "new team" happening, working on newer technologies. In the late afternoon that day I'm having a conversation with one of my colleagues about it all and I say: "Just my luck there's probably a job interview offer sitting at home now and this comes up - what timing that would be". Low and behold, there is!

Do you just go with guy instinct? Do you ask someone else, or do you just wait it out and bide your time to see what happens at your new place. Why can't decisions like this just come easily? Is it nature? Is it god or some unknown force with some sick sense of humour, like a man with a monocle glass torturing that little ant.

Sometimes those old clichés just come back to bite you in the ass!

Hope you people make the right decision at the right time. Really that's what life is all about....
